Back To School Project – Race 4 Aid, Sharjah Charity Supports Over 300 Orphans in Northern Region

In an effort to enhance education for orphans and underprivileged children, Race 4 Aid, in collaboration with Sharjah Charity, has successfully launched its Back to School Program, benefiting orphans and underprivileged children in the Greater Accra, Central, Volta, and Eastern regions.

In Tamale, Race 4 Aid extended its support to orphans during a brief ceremony held at Kulikuli School AstroTurf.

Over 300 beneficiaries from communities in the Northern Region benefited from the project, with each child receiving school bags, books, and essential learning materials to help them start the academic year with confidence.

Addressing the media, Executive Director of Race 4 Aid, who also serves as the Adenta Municipal Chief Imam, Sheikh Imam Mohammed Mutawakil Abubakari, emphasized that this initiative is part of a nationwide effort aimed at providing every child with the opportunity to learn, grow, and dream.

“Together, we can build a brighter future for Ghana,” stated Imam Sheikh Mutawakil.

Sheikh Imam Mutawakil also expressed his gratitude to the donors for their consistent support of the underprivileged.

Sheikh Suleiman Nabila, Special Guest of the ceremony admonished the caretakers of the beneficiaries to refrain from selling the learning materials and urged them to ensure the children put these resources to good use.

Several caretakers of the beneficiaries took the opportunity to thank Race 4 Aid and its donors for their continued assistance over the years.
