The Asante-Akyem-Central Constituency has rooted strongly for Kofi Ofosu Nkansah as their next Member of Parliament.
According to them, even if Kofi Nkansah is in jail, they will still vote for him to represent them in parliament so Hon Anyimadu Antwi, MCE and chairman Kofi Yesu can do their worst because that won’t change anything.
They said they will be glad if the OSP sent him to court tomorrow for his prosecution so that they can vote massively in his favour so that it will tell OSP that money cannot buy their conscience.
“The Asante Akyem Central is not a bonified property for Hon Anyimadu Antwi so he can go ahead and arrest the entire community,” the supporters indicated.
According to them, they have realized that due to their involvement in Galamsey activities, Hon Anyimadu Antwi and the MCE are all afraid of Mr Ofosu Nkansah to become the member of parliament for the constituency.
“Let’s assure them that come what may Mr Ofosu Nkansah will win hands down with no stress so Hon Anyimadu Antwi and his Galamsey MCE should start packing their things,” they fumed.
The delegates are not worried about the development but assured that they will reward Ofosu Nkansah in the upcoming parliamentary primaries slated 27th January 2024.
“Ghana in our political depensations there are vote buying and not non elections day’s that some is sharing Xmas package to someone turn to a crime but wait the man in question has been doing this before he went to NEIP as CEO so Hon do little and your MCE you get it all wrong come again and make on the day of elections you don’t come to us with your money they will take it and still disappointed Hon do little.”
The delegates caution OSP to investigate before acting and called for the immediate sack of the OSP for doing shoddy job without proper investigation and also called on Wontumi to sanction both the MCE and Hon Anyimadu Antwi for disgracing the party in Ashanti Region.
