Apostle Francis Amoako Attah’s Son NOT Involved In East Legon Accident

The tragic accident at East Legon on Saturday, October 12, 2024, which has left at least two people dead, sparked initial confusion and false reports on social media.

Early rumors misidentified one of the individuals involved, with some portals erroneously claiming the accident involved the son of Apostle Francis Amoako Attah, a popular pastor in Ghana as the one driving the white Jaguar which run into in incoming vehicle causing the accident.

However, it has since been confirmed that the family of Apostle Francis Amoako Attah does not own a Jaguar, let alone the white Jaguar referenced in the initial reports.

In fact, the son who was said to have been involved in the crash was home at the time and is in good health.

This discrepancy left many puzzled, as social media suggested that someone involved in such a serious accident would likely be hospitalized, not at home.

The family of Apostle Amoako Attah expressed their devastation at the false publication, which caused unnecessary distress and confusion.

Meanwhile, further details have emerged, confirming that the white Jaguar involved in the crash belongs to the wife of Salifu Amoako, another well-known pastor in Ghana.

The car had been taken by one of Salifu Amoako’s sons, believed to be between 21 and 22 years old, who had borrowed it to run an errand during his younger brother’s birthday celebration on the same day.

Both Salifu Amoako’s son and his friend, who were in the Jaguar at the time, survived the crash.

Conflicting reports gathered suggest that the birthday celebration was for the pastor’s eldest son, around 25 years old.

However, it was the younger brother, aged 16 or 17, who was reportedly driving the Jaguar.

CCTV footage revealed that the white Jaguar was speeding when it crashed into at least one other vehicle.

Eyewitnesses reported seeing the Jaguar ignite shortly after the crash. A motorcyclist, who was among the first responders, recounted how he managed to rescue a young girl from the second car involved but was unable to save the woman driving it before it caught fire.

Reports indicated that one of the vehicles involved hit an electric pole, which caused the pole’s cables to fall and spark a fire that engulfed both vehicles.

The fire resulted in the tragic deaths of at least two people, who were burnt beyond recognition.

The accident has left the community in shock as investigations continue into the cause of the high-speed crash.
