Sheikh Ishaq Nuamah Eulogized Dr. Bawumia Over His Decent Character

Renowned Islamic Cleric and Scholar Sheikh Ishaq Nuamah has described the character of the Vice President and flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as unquestionable character and are essential for the next leader of Ghana.

Addressing several young people at a public lecture and review of a book titled, “Dr. Bawumia and the Modern Vice Presidency,” by Professor. Etse Sikanku, Sheikh Nuamah commended Dr. Bawumia for his remarkable political journey, adding that he is on the cusp of the Presidency because of his good character traits, which he said have earned him huge support across the board, even though he is a Muslim.

“Dr. Bawumia has never been corrupt, and he has never been a womanizer. He has a good character.

Even his opponents know that.” “Christians are rooting for him because of his character.

They tell me, ‘As for that man, he is very humble.’ Yes, he is very, very humble,” Sheikh Nuamah told the largely Muslim youth audience.

“He is also very tolerant. You can insult him from morning to evening; he won’t mind you.

Kindness is also one of his traits, and it is a character trait that draws people closer when you have it,” he added.

Sheikh Nuamah also hailed Dr. Bawumia’s unifying trait and work ethic, saying people who have worked with him have attested to it.

“He is also hardworking and result-oriented. Those who are working at close range with him know that he is result-oriented.”

“And he is a unifier. If you watch the campaigns in all the regions, how many are Muslims? How many Muslims are in this country? But when you look at the audience following him, it is huge.

“Chiefs and pastors who are non-Muslims are rooting for him,” he added, urging the Zongo community to join forces with the rest of the country and rally behind Dr. Bawumia in December because he can be trusted.
