during a press conference held in Kyebi on Thursday, March 12, 2026.

According to Samuel Berwuine, the initiative forms part of the MP’s broader commitment to improving access to higher education for young people in the constituency.

In an interview, Dr. Agyemang explained that his decision to support students stems from his strong belief in education as a catalyst for development.

According to him, investing in education remains the most effective way to drive long-term socio-economic transformation.

“A society can only be transformed economically and socially if its people are well educated. I am an MP today because I had access to education,” he said.

“I believe investing in the education of my constituents is the best gift I can give them. These students will not only be intellectually empowered but also economically equipped to drive the development of this constituency.”

Some beneficiaries of the programme expressed appreciation to the MP, describing the support as timely relief that will help them focus on their academic work without financial pressure.
