Accra Zabarma Chief Expresses Gratitude To Gov’t And Others Over Nasara Founder’s Du’a
The Greater Accra Zabarma Chief and President of Ghana Zabarma Association, Alhaji Pro-Umar Abubakar Tanko, has expressed appreciation to the government, the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osuman Nuhu Sharubutu and his spoke person, Sheikh Armyiyau Shuibu, Diplomats, Organizations and other Individuals who played various roles at the one-week Du’a (prayers) of his godfather and a mentor who is also the founding father of New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nasara Wing, Alhaji Fuseini Maiga.
He acknowledged the organizations, diplomats, politicians and individuals who went beyond the call to duty to ensure the success of the one-week Du’a (Prayers).
The Greater Accra Zabarma Chief further expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the exemplary role of all the political parties which participated and ensured the success of the events in honor of the late founding father of NPP Nasara Wing.
Alhaji Pro-Umar Abubakar Tanko said this in a press statement jointly issued on Friday by the Palace and the Ghana Zabarma Association signed by Zaid Pro-Umar Tanko who is the Chiroma and an Executive Director of the Association.
According to him, it is necessary to recognize and acknowledge those who spent their resources and time to participate in the event adding that it is befitting and important that people be honored for their contribution to human and national development.
He said the one-week Du’a attracted national and international characters and furthermore expressed gratitude to the NPP government, members of the largest opposition party NDC and the royals from Ghana and beyond.
The one-week Du’a was held on Sunday October 4, 2020 at the forecourt of the State House in Accra which brought together Diplomats, Chiefs, Imams and opinion leaders from the various communities across the country.
Amongst the distinguished personalities in attendance were the Vice President of the republic of Ghana, Alhaji Dr. Mahamoud Bawumia; the Ghana’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Sheikh T.B Damba; Chief of Ablekuma Agape Gonse, Emir Sheriff Adam (Sarki Gadafi); Zabarma Chief of Abeka, Alhaji Musah Yahaya Yendu; Zongo Chief of Oduman Sarki Suleman Mandi; Paramount Chief of Songhai Community in Ghana; Sarki Amadu Fatahi Alhassan and the representatives from the cabinet of Greater Accra Zabarma Chief’s Palace.
Others include, Zabarma Chief of Achampeng, Sarki Yaya Ibrahim Issaka, Zabarma Chief of Gomoa Fete, Sarki Imurana Jibril, Zabarma Chief of Gomoa Nyanyano, Sarki Abdul-Rahman Abubakar, Zabarma Chief of Kasuan Garba, Sarki Haruna Salai, Zabarma Chief of Ayawaso, Sarki Alhaji Louis and amongst others.
