Professor Alabi represented His Excellency John Mahama at the 2024 Gomoa Ekwamkrom Akwambo & Dadzeban Festival. On Mahama’s behalf, he applauded the chiefs and people of Gomoa Central for dedicating this year’s festival to raising funds for their market complex.
Professor Alabi emphasized that markets would play a crucial role in providing outlets for increased production as the NDC implements its 24-hour economy policy.
He assured the people of Gomoa Central and the entire country that under John Mahama’s leadership, the NDC government would build modern markets when voted into power in December 2024.
Additionally, he highlighted the “No Fees – Stress” policy, which would take care of registration , admission and academic fees for first-year students entering the universities.
He also discussed the proposed Women’s Bank, designed to assist women in enhancing their businesses at very low interest rate
