CEO of Useful Waste Limited Lauds Presidential Pitch Grant for Business Expansion
Georgina Odoom, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Useful Waste Limited, has praised the 2023 Presidential Pitch initiative, highlighting the significant impact it has had on her business.
In a recent interview, Ms. Odoom shared the numerous benefits she has reaped from the grant she secured through the program, emphasizing that it provided her with the leverage needed to expand her growing business.
Ms. Odoom described the Presidential Pitch as a commendable initiative that should be sustained to support emerging businesses in Ghana.
“The grant allowed us to expand our operations by acquiring more materials and waste bins, which has enabled us to serve our customers more efficiently,” she stated.
Since receiving the grant, Useful Waste Limited has extended its services beyond the Prestea-Huni Valley area to include the Amenfi East district.
The company has also grown its client base to over 150 customers and has employed five additional workers, bringing the total number of employees to seventeen.
