COP RAZAK OSMAN DESERVES COMMENDATION FOR HIS RECENT ACHIEVEMENTS AS THE NATIONAL SECURITY COORDINATOR OF GHANA

The man COP RAZAK OSMAN came to the table with vast experience in Security management and since his assumption of office in 2025 he has been able to reach an enviable milestone in managing our National Security even though with little resources available to him. This is somebody I have personally not met before and initially had my doubts. But appraising him from afar, using his performance index, I think he has done very well so far. Below are a few of his achievements I know;

1. He is the first in the history of the National Security Council to have recruited over 7,000 grassroots across the country in just a year.

2. He led an operation to recover a lot of stolen government vehicles in January 2025, reducing the use of state resources to purchase more vehicles.

3. He organized a squad to arrest all the fabricators of fake DVLA Number plates and turned the revenue from it to the state.

4. He schemed to uncover the rot at National Service Secretariat leading to the arrest of some suspected officers

5. He is said to have provided the security architecture for the promotion and protection of the GOLDBOD which has become the cash cow in our Forex index.

6. He recently directed an operation, leading to the rescue of Ghanaians from the pirates on the high seas through Awutu Senya West Constituency.

7. Using the Logistics Unit of the National Security Council, COP Razak Osman has sunk close to 100 boreholes in various communities in the Southern Sector of the country, jerking up to continue with the gesture in the Northern Sector of the country.

8. He detailed the roadmap for the surveillance and arrest of some missing ECG cables at some obscure locations, saving a lot money to the state which would have gone waste.

9. He has recently put together a Revenue Mobilisation Team in collaboration with the Commissioner General of the GRA to track down tax evaders and ensure revenue to the state.

With such phenomenal achievements, this man needs to be resourced and encouraged to do more. Much as I personally expect him to invest and expand his tentacles for more intelligence to further enhance his operations and achievements, he is overall an excellent Capo! I sincerely wish him well. Thank you!
