EXCLUSIVE: Former Ghana U20 star Jamal Arago completes FC Drita move
Former Ghana U20 star Jamal Arago has completed a year move to Kosovo champions FC Drita, footballmadeinghana.com can exclusively reveal.
FC Drita announced the capture of the former MTN Soccer Academy winner on Thursday afternoon.
Jamal who has been in Germany for the past six months is likely to join a German side after his stint with Drita as the move is set to serve as a litmus text for the talented player.
Arago who has previously had stints with former Kosovo champions FC Prishtina will be playing for his third club in the country as he eyes a move to Germany next season.
FC Drita is currently playing in the European Champions League qualifiers and Jamal is likely to feature for them if they finally secure their slot.
FC Drita have been winners of the Kosovo league on two occasions and their current triumph is their second.
FC Drita will be participating in UEFA Champions League for the second time since Kosovo got accepted into UEFA a few years ago.
The side got eliminated by Swedish side Malmo FF last season in the last round of the qualifiers to the group stages of the UEFA Champions League.
Drita have also won the Kosovo Super Cup once, beating FC Prishtina in 2018, at a time Jamal was playing for Prishtina.
FC Drita were the champions for just ended 2020 season and will be meeting FC Prishtina for the second time for the Super Cup in a few days time again after FC prishtina won FA Cup 2020.
Currently Drita FC are battling with UEFA over Corona situations after they won their preliminary qualification game 2-1 over Honduras champions Inter Descaledes.
