Friends of Tema July Borns Renovate Consulting Room 8 at Tema General Hospital
Nana Amoako Mensah, representing the Friends of Tema July Borns Association (FOTA), officially handed over a newly renovated and fully furnished Consulting Room 8 to the Tema General Hospital.
The event marked a significant contribution by the July-born members of FOTA to the healthcare facility, aiming to enhance the environment for both patients and healthcare professionals.
In his speech, Nana Mensah emphasized the association’s commitment not only to improve the physical appearance of the room but also to foster a healing atmosphere.
“Today, we celebrate the collaborative spirit that drove this initiative. Our aim was not merely to enhance the aesthetics of this space but to create an environment that is conducive to healing and professionalism,” he stated.
The ceremony saw heartfelt acknowledgments from Dr. Richard Anthony, the hospital’s medical director, who thanked the FOTA team for their efforts.
He expressed the hospital’s gratitude for the support, noting the importance of such community-led projects in elevating healthcare standards.
With the project’s completion, Consulting Room 8 is now set to welcome patients into a renewed space of care and hope, reflecting the dedication of the Friends of Tema July Borns and their commitment to the betterment of healthcare services in the community.
