The Gbetsile Circuit Court has issued a restraining order against four individuals, preventing them from encroaching on a site owned by Holmos Construction Company Limited in Afienya, located in the Ningo Prampram District. The individuals involved are Nene Tettey Kodzo III, Numo Abban Martey, Nurudeen Salley (also known as Saladeen), and Ezekiel Tetteh (also known as Mallam).
This legal action follows an incident where these four individuals attempted to create a public misconception by illegally installing signposts on the property belonging to Holmos Construction. The company opposed these actions and reported the matter to the police.
The court, employing the Alternative Dispute Resolution process, adopted the terms of an agreement reached during a meeting.
The ruling restricts the four individuals from any form of encroachment, patrolling, or further installation of signposts on the land owned by Holmos Construction.
Additionally, they are instructed to advise their workers and associates to cease all activities on the 370-acre site designated for Holmos Construction company’s development.
Holy Ativor, the Chief Executive Officer of Holmos Construction, addressed the court’s ruling, emphasizing that it aligns with his commitment to maintaining peace and order within his estate.
He remarked that the actions of the four individuals were criminal in nature and posed a threat to the stability of the area, which necessitated legal intervention.
Mr Ativor further cautioned neighboring estates and individuals claiming ownership of adjacent lands to ensure their activities do not infringe on the properties of Holmos Construction.
He stated that any encroachment would be met with legal consequences, reaffirming the company’s stance against unauthorized land activities within its boundaries.
