I.C Quaye Sets Another Record … As No Pilgrim Left Behind
It seems the current Hajj Board Chairman Sheikh I.C Quaye has identified the major challenges that has confronted most of his predecessors over the years’.
Almost all Hajj Chairmen had over a decade failed to have a clean sheet by airlifting all paid Pilgrims to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj Pilgrimage.
Last Sunday, the Muslim communities across the country witnessed another successful hajj operation where no single pilgrim was left behind.
The last batch of about four hundred Ghanaian Muslim Pilgrims attending this year’s Hajj had arrived in Medina, city of Hejazi in Saudi Arabia.
This brings the number of Ghanaians attending the annual ritual to six thousand.
Most pilgrims were full of praise for the Hajj Board for the successful organisation of the trip.
From Medina, the pilgrims will move to Makkah to begin the annual rites of Hajj 2019.
