Nii Doku III Offsets Hospital Bills Of Women Who Gave Birth At Usher Maternity Unit

The Supreme Head of Gbese Somnenaa, Nii Doku III has paid hospital bills of puerpera (women who gave birth) at the Usher Hospital maternity unit in Accra.

He also presented packs of bottled water to the Midwives and health workers.

This gesture forms part of his birthday gift to the society. Last year on his birthday, Nii Doku III presented food items, assorted drinks, toiletries among other items to various orphanage in Accra where he celebrated with the less privileged.

The philanthropist also pledged to provide the Usher Hospital maternity unit with the necessary medical equipment which will help them work their hearts out in saving the lives of pregnant women.

The kindhearted philanthropist, Nii Doku III who doubles as the Sempe Muslim Akwashongtse and hails from Gbese in Greater Accra has lived up to expectation by providing the basic needs of not only the Ga Mashie people but anyone who comes to him for support especially the less privileged.

On an auspicious day that will forever stay ingrained in the memory of the beneficiaries, Nii Doku III stated that the assistance was in furtherance of his aim to help and empower the less privileged persons in the society.

He added that his first daughter was born at the Usher Hospital therefore its a privilege for him to offset hospital bills of women who have delivered at the same hospital.

He prayed for God’s blessings and guidance to the midwives and medical staff, assuring them of his support periodically.

Nii Doku III used the opportunity encouraged well meaning individuals especially Chiefs and philanthropists within that Ga Mashie area to emulate this gesture by assisting people who can not afford to pay their hospital bills.

The head of the Maternity unit thanked Nii Doku III for extending his benevolence to the women who gave birth at the hospital.

She called on other Chiefs and philanthropists to follow suit and support the hospital with medical equipment and appealed to government to expand the hospital.

The beneficiary mothers expressed their profound gratitude to Nii Doku III for the kind gesture and prayed for God to continue to bless the Supreme Head of Gbese Somnenaa as he has put smile on their faces.
