RLFG Hosts Successful Breakfast Meeting to Chart the Future of Rugby League in Ghana

The Rugby League Federation Ghana (RLFG) hosted a pivotal breakfast meeting on Friday, July 26, 2024, bringing together key stakeholders from corporate Ghana, government bodies, and the educational sector to discuss the future of rugby league in Ghana. This landmark event aimed to introduce many attendees to the sport, highlighting its numerous benefits and potential to become a national pastime.

The event was graced by the presence of RLFG President, Madam Juliana Storey, who underscored the significance of developing rugby league in Ghana. In her address, she emphasized the sport’s potential to positively impact communities, foster teamwork, and promote healthy living among the youth. “Rugby league can play a crucial role in community development, providing opportunities for young people to engage in positive activities,” said Madam Storey.

The breakfast meeting served as an introduction to rugby league for many attendees, showcasing the sport’s unique appeal and potential to unify diverse groups within Ghana. The RLFG took this opportunity to highlight the sport’s potential for growth and its ability to inspire the next generation of athletes.
