The Upper Room Assembly in Tema community five has commissioned its ultra modern state of the art office in Tema as part of this year’s celebration of its annual thanksgiving programme ‘Amazing Grace’.
The annual fasting and thanks giving programme is aimed at praying to God for mercy and thanking God for His goodness.
This year’s event dubbed ‘Amazing Grace thanksgiving festival 2019’ was held at its headquarters in Tema under the theme ‘ And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten’ Joel 2:23-27.
The founder and spiritual head of the church Bishop Beatrice Dzandu Hedidor called on Ghanaians to live in harmony and endeavour to seek forgiveness from God and everything will be fine.
” We need love as a country and God will bless us. Ghana is a blessed country and no confusion or calamity will befall this nation” she noted.
Bishop Hedidor noted that the annual amazing grace festival has been an annual event on the calendar of the church where members pray and fast for thirteen days to seek the face of God.
Several dignitaries from far and near graced the occasion.
The Guest of Honour, Mr Thomas Odamten urged the church to take the annual amazing grace prayers and fasting of the church serious as it is one programme on the calendar of the church that God is using to turn around situations of people.
“I urge you all to take this event quite serious as I have personally witnessed the blessings that comes with this programme. I entreat you to be part and trust me, God will turn your situation around” he urged
Both church members and guests who have in previous years been part of the amazing grace festival gave series of testimonies about what God has done for them after setting foot at the Upper Room Assembly.
The Upper Room Assembly which is located at Tema community five has seen some former Presidents visiting for prayers from the founder and spiritual leader of the church, Bishop Beatrice Dzandu Hedidor.
The occasion was also used to inaugurate the church’s ultra modern office complex.
The office complex comes with a fully furnished consultation room and well resourced reception, kitchen, rest rooms among others.
The founder and spiritual leader of the church, Bishop Hedidor noted that the office complex is to ensure that people who come for consultation are well catered for.
“It is important we offer the best for people who come for counselling and consultation because they are the reason God has put me here. This building is for God and His people and as such must be given the very best”.
God has through Bishop Hedidor, healed people who have been battling with years of chronic diseases, people who have lost favour and people whose financial situations have been bad have all had a turnaround.
