This was contained in a statement issued on November 6, 2025, and signed by the Director of Communications, Alhaji Mohammed Amin Lamptey.

According to the statement, the high-level conference, organized by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in collaboration with the Pilgrims Experience Program (PEP), aims to enhance pilgrims’ services, promote innovation, and strengthen teamwork, transparency, and crisis management across all sectors of Hajj operations.

Alhaji Mohammed Amin Lamptey explained that the conference provides a unique platform for stakeholders from across the globe to exchange ideas on leadership, technology, logistics, and communication strategies designed to improve the overall Hajj experience.

He added that the gathering also brings together policymakers, experts, and entrepreneurs in Hajj operations to identify challenges, propose innovative solutions, and deepen international cooperation among service providers and participating nations.

The Communications Director further reminded all prospective 2026 Ghanaian pilgrims to pay their Hajj fare of ₵60,000 through accredited Hajj agents or directly into PAOG accounts at the Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB).

He emphasized that early payment is critical to ensuring the provision of quality services both in Ghana and Saudi Arabia, noting that delays could affect logistical and accommodation arrangements.> “Early payment of Hajj fares remains the bedrock of a successful pilgrimage,” he stated.
