Planned Death Attack On Ketu South NPP Vice Chairman Exposed
The First Vice Chairman of the ruling NPP in Ketu South, Daniel Akpaloo has hinted of relinquishing his position in the Constituency over death threats on his live.
Mr Daniel Akpaloo who said he will officially communicate this to the party structures, National Security Advisor and the President, said recently he has come under serious attacks from some individuals within the area because of his unflinching support and dedication for the party, which most of the people saw as an afront to the chances of the NDC in the area.
Daniel Akpaloo who is also a Security Expert, revealed that there was an intelligence gathering, which confirmed that all the security agency heads in Aflao, have a meeting where plans were hatched to attack, beat him up anytime they see him at the border.
According to information, these Security Heads are also taken such a decision to ‘silence’ Daniel Akpaloo who have been on their neck, exposing their nefarious activities along the border.
It has also been alleged that such a plot to attack the NPP first vice chairman of the party, to was also to end his close relationship with the media which always see his comments relevant and hence publish his positions on matters of security and the operations pf the security services at the border.
Speaking to Daniel Akpaloo on the matter, he explained that he received confidential report from sources he didn’t reveal that, one Martin Danquah who is the liason officer of the National Security in Aflao went behind the scene organizing invincible forces to get involved in the planned attack on him.
He said: “They were doing these because of my supports to our party, the NPP. I can attest to the fact, and everybody is aware that at the that time we don’t have support for the party only few of us the courageous ones stood up for the party here and we are able to hold the front till today. Now these people are plotting to kill me because they see me as a threat to the NDC which they support secretly.”
According to him, “If today I stand the chance to be the first vice chairman of our great party, it is through the great determination and the love I had for the party.
He also revealed that he was informed that Martin Danquah is claiming he, Akpaloo, had revealed a secret to the Togolese counterpart for which every attempt will be made to assassinate him.
“I don’t know what secret I have revealed to Togolese counterparts and they are planning to kill me. I urged Togo national security to be on the alert,” he said.
