Metro TV Journalist Nearly Lynched To Death
Metro TV Journalist, Samuel Asamoah narrowly escaped lynching by a group of land guards in the Ada West district during an interview between him and a poor farmer whose farm produce were destroyed to make way for a building construction.

According to information, Mr. Frederick Ackweh, a native of Hwakpo had complained that he has been in a dilemma for the past four days after his tomatoes farm was destroyed by unknown persons who have dug trenches through the farm for building purposes.
Speaking to newsmen, Frederick Ackweh the situation has affected his livelihood hence, the decision to speak to the media when the sad incidence of attack on the journalist occurred.
Meanwhile, three days after the near lynching of journalists including a Metro TV reporter by land guards on a farmland at in Ada Hwakpo, the police are yet to arrest any of the suspects even though one of the victims of the attack led the police in Sege on Saturday to the hideout of the culprits.
The police say they are only interested in the one who took the mobile phone of one of the victims.
Innocent Koranteng, a photographer taking pictures as evidence for the farmer during the interview and the one whose phone was seized by the land guard are currently lamenting the attitude of the Sega police.
Not long ago, the youth of Sega staged a demonstration against the police who they accused of being in bed with some criminals terrorizing residents.
