The National Democratic Congress NDC Parliamentary Candidate for Awutu Senya East constituency in the Central Region Hon. Phillis Naa Koryoo Okunor on August 11, 2024 presented a brand new motorbike to a branch organizer of the party Comrade Isaac Boadu.
Comrade Isaac Boadu a branch organizer of pious branch’s motorbike was maliciously burnt at a registration centre by alleged thugs affiliated with Hawa Koomson, the Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya East Constituency.
According to reports, Boadu had his motorbike burnt on the day alleged ‘thugs’ of the NPP attempted to burn the car of Hon. Naa Koryoo which led to her arrested and seizure of her legally registered firearm.
Speaking after the presentation of the motorbike, Hon. Naa Koryoo assured members of NDC cadres that their hard work for the party will not be in vain.
She encouraged party members in her constituency to abide by the rules, but not be intimidated by the NPP who are growing desperate as they face defeat on December 7.
She emphasized that the NPP’s attempts to manipulate the outcome through intimidation will not succeed on the election day.
