After over seventy years of breaking away from the denkyira kingdom, the chief and people of Diaso were readmitted and united to the kingdom in a colourful but sober ceremony after rituals and traditions were performed at the denkyira stool house and other sacred places as part of Adae kan (first adae 2024)to enable the people of Diaso who are also the original occupant of the Adonten division of the denkyira state to be re admitted and united into kingdom and also to take up the role Adonten in Denkyira.
Omanhen of Efutu, Neenyi Ghartey who has been working and mediated between the new Diaso chief and the traditional council led the Diaso people to Ahenkro for this historic ceremony.
Denkyirahemaa Nana Ama Ayensua Saara III, Prof Christopher Ameyaw Akumfi, divisional chiefs,other sub chiefs, Denkyira citizens from far and near, denkyiras in sefwi,Oti region, Subriso, Akyem Bomaa among others were in attendance.
