Apostle Amoako Atta’s Venezuela Prophecy Appears Fulfilled as Maduro Reportedly Captured After U.S. Strikes

A prophecy issued weeks ago by Ghanaian cleric and Founder of Parliament Chapel International (PCI), Apostle Francis Amoako Atta, appears to have come to pass following dramatic developments in Venezuela involving President Nicolás Maduro.

In what is now drawing renewed attention, Apostle Amoako Atta had warned of an imminent leadership crisis for the Venezuelan president, cautioning that betrayal from within and external pressure would expose him politically and threaten his grip on power. The prophecy, delivered in a religious context and pointing to early 2026, advised President Maduro to consider exile as a means of averting a violent or humiliating end.

Recent events have shocked the international community. On January 3, 2026, the United States launched large-scale military strikes on Venezuela, targeting key military and strategic installations, including locations in the capital, Caracas. U.S. President Donald Trump later announced that President Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, had been captured and flown out of the country following the operation.

Trump, in a post on his social media platform Truth Social, said the strikes were carried out in coordination with U.S. law enforcement agencies, describing the operation as decisive and successful. He indicated that further details would be provided at a press briefing in Mar-a-Lago.

While the Venezuelan government condemned the attacks as an act of aggression and declared a national emergency, it stopped short of immediately confirming the reported capture of Maduro, instead demanding “proof of life.” Nonetheless, reports of explosions, military aircraft over Caracas, blackouts, and infrastructure damage fueled speculation that the country’s leadership had been severely destabilized.

Observers and followers of Apostle Amoako Atta have since linked the unfolding events to his earlier prophecy, noting striking similarities between his warning and the manner in which Maduro’s authority appears to have collapsed. The apostle had specifically spoken of trusted allies turning against the president and a sudden loss of power if urgent action was not taken.

The situation marks a historic escalation in U.S.–Venezuela relations, described as the most direct American military intervention in Latin America since the 1989 Panama invasion. Regional reactions have been mixed, with Colombia calling for emergency UN action amid fears of refugee inflows, while Cuba and other allies condemned the U.S. action as imperialistic.

Although the prophecy was originally framed as a spiritual warning rather than political analysis, its apparent fulfillment has reignited debate about the role of prophetic declarations in global affairs, especially when they intersect with real-world geopolitical events.

As developments continue to unfold, Apostle Amoako Atta’s message is being widely cited across social and traditional media as one of the most notable prophecies linked to an international political upheaval in recent times.
