Avoid Making Comedy Films On COVID-19 Pandemic – Film Directors Advised

A Film Director, Producer and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Eagle Sight Productions, Mclord Ice Impraim has advised all filmmakers most especially film Directors especially members of the Film Directors Guild of Ghana (FDGG) to desist from directing and making comedy films on COVID-19 pandemic.

He said they must rather join in using their skills and abilities in making good short films to educate the public in these hard times.

“Actors and Actresses should use their social media platforms to educate their fans. All directors should not entertain upcoming talents (Actors /Actresses) who will join the fun and joking train making a comic about COVID-19 and should not work with them ever,” he said.

According to him, COVID-19 is a serious pandemic that has hit the globe and also Ghana. And described the virus as an enemy to the state and to mankind and must be treated as such.

“Let us all join in the battle to fight this dreadful enemy to health, economy and to social life. God bless you all and stay protected and prayerful, and we shall all survive,” he said.
