The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei has noted that Martyr Soleimani had played a significant role in reviving the resistance front in the region, playing a very significant role.
He said, before Martyr Soleimani, there were resistance groups in certain regions, but then a front emerged and because the opposing side forms a front, the other side also has to form a front.
According to him, if this front did not exist now, Gaza could not resist so strongly as the resistance front gives power to all sides of the issue.
He was speaking at the 4th Anniversary Of The Martyrdom Of General Qasem Soleimani.
Touching n the value of Martyr Soleimani’s work, he said it is the role of Martyr Soleimani in revitalizing the resistance front in the region.
“Martyr Haj Qasem Soleimani had a very prominent role in this matter, he worked very hard. People see his presence on the mountains of Syria, his fearlessness, and his facing of danger; this is very important, but the main importance is that these goings, this presence, and these efforts were able to revive, keep alive, and strengthen this front.”

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
We thank God for granting us the opportunity to witness the worldly reward of the martyrdom of Sardar Soleimani every day, presenting this great personality and prominent figure before our eyes. What you observe, the expansion and dissemination of his name and memory, is the worldly reward for this noble individual; we cannot imagine or comprehend the rewards in the Hereafter, it is a worldly reward.
I believe that from the day he became a martyr until today, the name and memory of Martyr Soleimani, along with his characteristics, have been propagated many times over his lifetime among the people. This is the same statement that someone once said, “Martyr Soleimani is more dangerous to us than Qasem Soleimani!” They said this on the opposing side, and they were right; it is indeed like that. Not only has the dust of forgetfulness not settled on the face of this martyr, but day by day, his prominence has increased, his luminosity has grown, his clarity has intensified, and God willing, it will continue to do so. This is God’s grace.
What is the reason for this? In my opinion, the reason is the sincerity of Martyr Soleimani; something that we often struggle with. Work is being done, but the soul of the work is sincerity. The actions of this martyr truly embodied this spirit; he worked sincerely, and those of us who worked with him could understand this. There was no self-promotion, no pretense, no personal agenda; he worked for God, moved for God. In my opinion, it is this sincerity that has manifested the worldly reward in this way. We have observed the same sincerity in the case of the Imam as well; the Imam was also like that. On the third or fourth day of the Imam’s burial, there was a large gathering at his resting place – at that time, there was nothing there yet; they had just erected a fence – I used to go there by helicopter. As I looked at this desert – now that area has been developed, but back then, it was mostly a desert – I saw people walking on foot towards the Imam’s resting place! I wondered, who is leading them? What attraction is pulling them there? I thought, it is the sincerity of the Imam that is pulling them and taking them there. Our dear martyr was the same; he was sincere.
Now, this lady (2) has asked for some advice; well, here is the advice: Be sincere in your actions; do not let the blemish of personal motives interfere with your intentions and actions; sincerity means working only for God. Wherever you see a blemish of personal motives, eliminate it; it is better for a person to leave the work than to do it for the sake of being seen. This is a point; a point of sincerity in him.
One point about the value of Martyr Soleimani’s work – they have talked a lot about this in these areas, and this point needs attention – is the role of Martyr Soleimani in revitalizing the resistance front in the region. Of course, if someone mentions this, they should state it correctly. Martyr Soleimani played a significant role in reviving the resistance front in the region; he had a very significant role. Before Martyr Soleimani, there were resistance groups in certain regions, yes, but then a front emerged; we always wanted this. Because the opposing side forms a front, this side also has to form a front. If this front did not exist now, Gaza could not resist so strongly. This resistance front gives power to all sides of the issue. If four units unite, their power and strength are more than five times that of one unit; a new identity is created; that new identity is very important. Martyr Haj Qasem Soleimani had a very prominent role in this matter, he worked very hard. People see his presence on the mountains of Syria, his fearlessness, and his facing of danger; this is very important, but the main importance is that these goings, this presence, and these efforts were able to revive, keep alive, and strengthen this front.
May God elevate his ranks, he pursued this work with insight, policy, reason, ethics, and relentless effort, and this was very important and is important.
Hopefully, it will continue. Of course, Mr. Qaani (3) is truly and rightfully moving well; his movement is very good, thank God. This front of strengthening the resistance front, in which the martyr was very active and prominent, and has a very high rank in this matter, hopefully, God willing, will continue.
May God protect you all, keep Mrs. (4) safe; they also play a role in the direction and motivation of Martyr Soleimani. Perhaps twenty years ago or twenty-three or four years ago [there was a time] when we prayed here in this courtyard with the Sepah children, the commanders of Sepah – maybe about twenty people – afterward, I sat on the stairs and had a warm and engaging talk; I hadn’t thought about it before, and God Almighty spoke in the same way! In fact, it was my tongue, it was God’s words; it was a very strange session, it had very impactful effects. After that session, a few of the children came to me; one of them was Haj Qasem; he came and conveyed a sentence from him, said my wife says this the same way I talked about it. I saw how influential the wife is; this lady had an effect on Haj Qasem; therefore, they are partners in the efforts of Haj Qasem, in addition to the deprivations of families – the absence of a spouse, the absence of a father – is very important; enduring these things is crucial, and they endured.
