Changes Made to Flight Schedule for Ghanaian Pilgrims Ahead of Friday Departure

The Communications Directorate of the Pilgrims Affairs Office of Ghana (POAG) has announced changes to the reporting and departure arrangements for prospective pilgrims scheduled to travel on Friday as part of the ongoing 2026 Hajj airlift operations to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

According to a message communicated to the affected pilgrims, individuals originally scheduled to board the fifth flight from Accra on Friday are now required to report much earlier than previously communicated.

The new arrangement directs all pilgrims assigned to the Friday flight to arrive at the Hajj Village for check-in at exactly 1:00 a.m., instead of the earlier reporting schedule. The flight is expected to depart at 8:30 a.m.

In the announcement delivered, officials urged all prospective pilgrims to quickly inform others about the changes to avoid delays or confusion, stressing that there is limited time before departure.

The message further appealed to pilgrims to cooperate fully with the new arrangements and avoid unnecessary strictness regarding the reporting time.

The Pilgrims Affairs Office continues to coordinate the airlift of Ghanaian pilgrims to Saudi Arabia ahead of the commencement of the 2026 Hajj pilgrimage.
