Eid Message: Avoid Any Act Of Violence – Sarki Maude Admonishes Youth

Sarki Alhaji Salisu Maude, the President of Council of Youth Chiefs in Ghana has urged the teeming youth in Ghana to actively participate in promoting peace before, during and after the upcoming general elections.

He called on the youth to also engage in constructive dialogue and vote responsibly whilst respecting the democratic process of the country.

Sarki Alhaji Salisu Maude who doubles as the Zongo Youth Chief in Ghana said this in his yearly Eid message to the Zongo communities in Ghana appealed to the youth to avoid violence, hate speech and any form of action that will disrupt the peace in the country adding that a peaceful election ensures stability and progress.

The highly respected Youth Chief stated that in unity and determination the youth can build a brighter future for Ghana and further urged the youth to continue to strive for excellence.

As political activities increase during this election year, he called on the youth to remember their duty to be law abiding citizens, respect the laws of Ghana, uphold ethical standards, practice good citizenship and contribute positively to their community.

He added that elections are crucial moments for any nation and there is therefore the need for the Ghanaian youth to prove to the world that Ghana is indeed a beacon of democracy in Africa.

He advised the youth to pursue education to the highest level through formal education, self learning and study abroad opportunities.

He encouraged them to explore gainful employment opportunities that align with their skills, interests and passions.
