HAG: Adu Eric Amos Sweeps Youth In Agribusiness Business Initiative Award 

Adu Eric Amos, Founder and Manager of Nana and Nana Farms, has been adjudged winner of Youth In Agribusiness Business Initiative at last Saturday’s Humanitarian Awards Ghana vent at the Labadi Beach Hotel.

Adu Eric Amos was presented with a plaque for the “Best Humanitarian Youth Agribusiness Initiative Of The Year,” for his immense contributions towards improving the lives of others and human welfare after beating four other nominees in that category.

Mr Adu Eric Amos is a farmer who rear pigs in Abompe in the Fanteakwa South District.

He won the best pigs farming in the Fanteakwa South District on 2019 Farmers Day Award at Abompe.

He is also the Founder of AEA Village Foundation into community support programs.

His Foundation has distributed large quantities of Max Mosquito Repellent to vulnerable people in five communities in Fanteakwa District including Anyinam, Abompe, Hemang, Dome and Gyampomani.

The Foundation also distributed 1000 Mosquitoes Repellent and 500 pieces of Soap to beneficiaries in those communities.

The Nominee is in the process of establishing a Soap and Paper factory in the area to support the women and the aged have means of livelihood.

Adu Eric Amos is also the CEO of AEA Packaging; working on a “flush out plastic bags,” campaign.

He is currently producing paper bags into the system in bid to make his vision a reality. It is interesting to note that the AEA Packaging paper bags are already in the system are coming as a better option to plastic bags which seem not only harmful to health but cause serious and irreparable damage to the environment.

He has also established the AEA Construction Limited to create job opportunities to the youth in his community.

Adu Eric Amos’s desire in building talents in the youth has also built the Akyem Hemang F.C to assist young boys in Akyem Hemang explore their talents in sporting activities and unearth their talents.

Speaking in an interview after the awards, Adu Eric Amos indicated that the Award he received is another win for him and his Foundation.

He said, he believes that in putting much effort in humanitarian activities, he is helping build a better society.

He averred that, the Award will also inspire him to do more for society and help in saving lives.

Humanitarian Awards Ghana seeks to recognize and award extraordinary individuals and groups who are positively impacting the lives of people, nature and society in Ghana.
