The Hon. Alhaji Gariba Campaign Team wishes to address recent assertions by Awal Murtala from Kumasi. Mr. Murtala falsely claims to be sent by Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to campaign for Hon. Stephen Jalulah, which is entirely untrue.
Furthermore, Mr. Murtala asserts that he is a staff member at the Flagstaff House, specifically at the office of the vice president. Our investigation reveals that this claim is unfounded.
It has also come to our attention that Awal Murtala is currently in the Pru West Constituency, making false claims and exploiting the name of the vice president for personal benefit. We strongly condemn these actions and call to the attention of the Office of the Vice president and the Flagstaff House to take prompt and effective action.
We emphasize the importance of truth and integrity in the political process. We call on Mr. Murtala to cease these deceptive practices, provide clarity on his claims, and urge the public and all delegates of Pru West Constituency to demand accurate information during the electoral campaign from such individuals.
