Management of KGL Group has indicated that it is neither indebted to, nor has defaulted on paying to the National Lottery Authority (NLA) as claimed by some group of lotto operators.
In a Press Release, KGL Group stated that KGL Group as an accredited digital lotto marketing company remains committed to the NLA as the single largest revenue contributor and one of the largest contributors to the consolidated fund as well as doing its bid to support the welfare and sister lotto marketing companies and constantly engaging management union of the authority.
Few days ago, the Ghana Lotto Operators and Agents (GLOA) accused KGL by making what KGL described as “spurious allegations” against the NLA and its collaborators..
It averred that the unsubstantiated claims emanated from a said expose’ of NLA activities.
These accusations KGL said, are the latest attempts designed to mislead discerning public and bring the corporate image of NLA, KGL and its accredited collaborators to dispute.
It said; “Accusations KGL Group takes very seriously and will refrain from making public comments on at this time as these are sensitive contractual issues with legal implications.”
KGL Group however urged lotto operators and the general public to disregard these unfounded allegations.
It also called on the media to endeavor to seek for facts from the NLA and stakeholders to present a true and balanced reportage baring that KGL will take legal recourse to remedy defamation.
According to the release, KGL as a full-fledged digital lotto marketing company operating in the lotto industry under the ‘590 mobile brand name,’ is a responsible corporate citizen with all their operations guided and regulated by the collaborative agreement tennents of the NLA, and abiding by the laws of the land.
- KGL Group urged collaborators and all third-party stakeholders to use dialogue through proper channel with the regulator, NLA, for redress of their ongoing impasse.
