A newly build hotel “ANANTARA Hotel” was last week commissioned at Hohoe, 6.4 kilometres from the Hohoe city centre off the Hohoe-Santrokofi road of the Volta Region.

The official opening of the Hotel is to contribute to the growth of the hospitality industry in the Volta Region and Ghana as a whole.

The hotel with state-of-the-art facilities has Suits and Standard rooms, conference facility, laundry service, intercom phone service and CC TV in and around the outer part of the building to offer the needed security and comfort to clients.

Managing Director of ANANTARA Hotel, Mr Rycharde Dabri in an interview said Ghana’s hospitality industry was growing and needed to be supported.

He averred that ANANTARA Hotel would complement the effort of the existing hotels in the area to add value to the industry by offering the needed comfortability in travels.

He said Ghana’s hospitality industry particularly the hotels lacked qualified personnel and some were not living up to international standards, but the story of ANANTARA Hotel will be different as they are ready to offer nothing but the best of services.

Mr Rycharde Dabri lauded government’s effort to develop the industry and bring it to the level where it would contribute more to the national kitty.

“Some key factor that seems to be working against efforts at boosting the hospitality industry in Ghana is the scarcity of suitable accommodation, especially in the remote areas. More of these facilities are concentrated in the big cities like Accra,” he said.

He said ANANTARA Hotel would treat customers like kings and queens to show the differences in the issue of customer service, expressing the hope that the hotel would expand in future to meet the coming challenges and demands in the industry.
