PAOG Restores Original Reporting Time for 5th Hajj Flight as 4th Batch Arrives Safely in Madina

The Pilgrims Affairs Office of Ghana (PAOG) has restored the original reporting time for prospective pilgrims scheduled to travel on the fifth Hajj flight on Friday, May 15, 2026.

According to PAOG, an earlier directive which changed the check-in reporting time from 4:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. has been withdrawn, with pilgrims now expected to report at the original time of 4:00 a.m.

The office expressed regret over the inconvenience caused by the temporary adjustment and appealed to all stakeholders to take note of the latest development.

Meanwhile, the fourth flight carrying Ghanaian prospective pilgrims for the 2026 Hajj pilgrimage has safely arrived in Madina, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, from the Accra International Airport.

PAOG disclosed that the flight landed on Thursday morning with 433 prospective pilgrims on board.

The Ghana Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, His Excellency Alhaji Said Sinare, together with his deputy, Alhaji Sani Jajah, were at the airport to support Alhaji Tanko and members of the advance team in giving the Ghanaian pilgrims a warm welcome upon arrival.

The statement was issued by the Communications Directorate of the Pilgrims Affairs Office of Ghana under the authority of the Chairman.
