Shatta Wale’s Spiritual Father Chief Naatia Salifu Congratulates Him Over ‘Already’ Colabo With Beyonce

A Tamale-based spiritualist and leader of the Kejebi Shrine in the Northern Region and leader of the Kejebi Shrine in the Northern Region, who is also the Spiritual father of Shatta Wale, Chief Naatia Salifu has commended the Dancehall King for making history of becoming the first Ghanaian artiste to premier a video with the American musician Beyoncé.

Last week Beyoncé premiered the video for ‘Already’ her collaboration with Ghanian artist Shatta Wale and Major Lazer, taken from the 2019 album ‘The Lion King: The Gift’.

Speaking in an interview with Chief Naatia Salifu, Shatta Wale’s recent breakthrough with his video with Beyonce is an indication of the fact that, he is indeed “King of all Dancehall Kings.”

He said, the collaboration also defied all the death and doomsday prophesies that were given against Shatta Wale by people he described as “fake prophets.”

Chief Naa Tia Salifu averred that Shatta Wale will continue to rise and will take the whole world by storm.

“He is giving Ghana and Africa an image that is beyond imagination. Shatta Wale has lifted Ghana’s image when it comes to music and I can tell you for a fact that, this is just the beginning of greater things and Ghanaians must expect more from my son.”

He said: “Let me take this opportunity and congratulate Shatta Wale for this achievement. This must also encourage other Ghanaian musicians to aspire to the top and be able to lift the image of the Ghana music industry to another level.”

The ‘Already’ video features Beyoncé dancing in a myriad of locations, like in an empty warehouse and among the treetops to name just a few.

The album was curated by Beyoncé herself, accompanying the 2019 remake of The Lion King which she starred as lioness Nala.

Shortly after the premiere, Shatta Wale took to Twitter to express his appreciation to Queen B for her belief in his talent.

“Thank you My Queen for believing in my talent and giving me a platform to share my good message to the world …God will forever bless you,” he tweeted Friday.

Music lovers in Ghana who have been waiting for the much-anticipated video have received the new visuals with open arms with many reinforcing the Dancehall King status of collaborator, Shatta Wale.
