The Exemplary Leadership of Honourable Lydia Seyram Alhassan

Through a bye election in 2019, Hon. Lydia Seyram Alhassan took her seat in Parliament, and since then, her positive strides has made some half-baked Members of Parliament who erroneously find themselves in the August House, look pathetic.

Though Hon. Lydia Alhassan has been in Parliament for just over five (5) years, she has demonstrated genuine concern for the welfare and progress of her constituents; this is evident in her continuous support for the University of Ghana, Legon (UG), and staying off its internal affairs.
In 2019, as part of efforts to enhance security on the campus of UG, she donated two motor bikes and a saloon car to the University.

Honourables like Lydia Alhassan to a greater extent, tempts the reasonable man on the street to have the faintest hope that democracy, after all, hasn’t handed over this country to criminals!

While some crooks have been in Parliament for almost twelve (12) years now and have NEVER extended support in whatever way to a single tertiary education institution in their constituencies, Lydia, the pacesetter, has clearly put these unpatriotic Members of Parliament, to shame!

Such disgraceful MPs are constantly devising ways and means to steal from the coffers of tertiary institutions located in their constituencies. Even the tertiary institutions’ lands are now being sold by these unpatriotic and unscrupulous characters to private developers without any shame whatsoever! And these are people who are actually supposed to provide support and protect the interests of all public establishments within their catchment areas! What a paradox!

It is not surprising that His Excellency Nana Akufo-Addo, has rewarded the upright Lydia Alhassan with a Ministerial appointment, while the dishonest MPs are sponsoring deluded media publications in order to be heard of and promoted from one insignificant and ceremonial position to a similar one.

The multi-faceted attempts to eliminate some of us through food poisoning, witchcraft, voodoo and juju by some criminals who should have taken their rightful positions at the Nsawam Medium Security Prison, but who due to travesty of Justice occasioned by democracy are still walking free, would all be in vain.
I wish to assure the hired witches that, their highest form of witchcraft, is someone’s lowest witchcraft!!
