“Your Success is Our Reward”: Asuogyaman MP Promises Full SHS Prospectus Support for Top BECE Performers
At a time when many families struggle with the cost of secondary education, hope is being restored for candidates in the Asuogyaman Constituency. Member of Parliament and Deputy Minister of Finance, Thomas Ampem Nyarko, has pledged to personally provide full prospectus packages for students who score single-digit aggregates in the ongoing 2025 BECE.
Visiting various exam centres alongside District Chief Executive Godwin Bobobee and District Education Director Augustina Adwoa Owusu, the MP offered words of encouragement and practical support.
“I want every student here to know that if you do your best and achieve a single-digit score, you won’t have to worry about school items. We’ll take care of everything,” he said warmly to gathered students.
The MP’s gesture goes beyond academics.
A daily feeding programme—resumed for the duration of the exams—is also keeping candidates well-fed and focused. The meal plan began with jollof rice and chicken on the first day, much to the joy of students.
For many candidates, like 14-year-old Anita from Atimpoku, the MP’s visit and incentives are life-changing. “It makes me feel like I’m not alone. I’m going to study harder,” she said with a smile.
