Zoomlion Partners Teshie Mantse To Launch Homowo Clean-up And Mosquito Spraying Exercise
Teshie Mantse, Gbetsoolo Nii Ashitey Akomfra II, has launched the Teshie Homowo Clean-up and Mosquito Spraying Exercise, with a call on all residents and shop operators within the Teshie Traditional Area to participate on the day of the exercise.
He cautioned all shop operators in the designated areas to closed their shops during the exercise.
“All residents and shop operators in Teshie to participate in the pre-Homowo household and community clean-up and mosquito spraying campaign at Teshie”. The statement noted.
The Teshie Mantse made this know in a press statement on August 14, 2024.
The exercise, which is scheduled for August 17, this year is under the auspices of the Teshie Traditional Council (TTC), Gbetsoolo Nii Ashitey Akomfra II, Teshie Mantse, Hon. Nii Kwatei Titus Glover, the Greater Accra Regional Minister in collaboration with the Ledzokuku Municipal Assembly (LEKMA) and the waste management giant, Zoomlion Ghana Limited.
The affected areas include Accra-Tema road from Kofi Annan Peacekeeping and Training Centre to first junction
St. John School Junction through to Martin Sowah Road to Roman Catholic Church Junction and the main NGA drain.
Other affected areas include the Salem Square through “Adjei Lotto” to Accra Tema road, from Adjeley Langmor to Accra Tema road, from Adjei-Boye Sekan street “Speedy ” to Teshie Airport lane.
Also from mobile through H.H Accra market the Northern Cluster of schools, Camp 2, Yoomo spects areas and Tebibianor areas.
“All shops in the designated areas should remain closed during the exercise”. The statement added.
The statement urged all to keep Teshie clean during the Homowo festival.
