The Zongo Chief of Tamale and Spiritual leader of Ahlul bayt mission in Northern region, has commended the vice President Dr Mahamoud Bawumia for his outstanding leadership and positive contribution towards Zongo development in Ghana.
Speaking to the media, Shehu Dalhu Abdul-Mumin said since the assumption of office, the Vice President has constantly showed concern for the Zongo development agenda. He thanked the Vice President for his resolve in securing scholarship from Cuba specially directed for the Zongo communities in Ghana.
40 Scholarship for the study of medicine annually in Cuba would not only develop the beneficiaries but our Zongo as a whole, he added
“ I feel obliged to commend the extra ordinary leadership style of the Vice President and hoped for continuous attention for the Zongo Development agenda. I am sincerely happy to hear about the latest development during his travel to Cuba”
Shehu Dalhu Abdul Mummin also lauded the initiation of the Zongo development fund and called on all and sundry to help restore and maintained the dignity of Zongo dwellers in Ghana.
He appealled to government to double efforts in addressing challenges among the youth of the nation.Youth empowerment and entrepreneurship will build a resilient nation and a vehicle to accelerated development our great nation, Shehu Dalhu noted.
He prayed for safe travel and back for all Ghanaians who are embarking on Hajj this year and urged them to pray for peace and stability of Ghana.
