Diabolic Plot Against Tampuli Exposed
Information gathered indicates that the recent call by Petroleum Tanker Drivers on the President, Nana Akufo-Addo to relieve the Chief Executive Officer of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA), Hassan Tampuli of his post is a calculated attempt to disrupt him and cause disaffection for him.
It would be recall that, Petroleum Tanker Drivers gave a 48-hour ultimatum to the President to sack him from office.
Meanwhile, snippets of information received indicate that the decision by the Petroleum Tanker Drivers to wage such war against Hassan Tampuli was sponsored by some unseen hands who are working to cause his defeat in the coming elections.
Hassan Tampuli has been endorsed as the ‘consensus’ NPP parliamentary candidate for Gushegu Constituency.
His endorsement, according to sources has come as a big blow to some opposition leaders who wanted to find ways and means to scuttle his moves towards winning the elections.
Interesting revelation emerging indicates that the allegations by the Tanker Drivers that he has failed to address some grievances which continue to affect their operations is false.
Hassan Tampuli’s management of the oil Agency has been described by many sector players as the best in the past few years and that the allegations chronicled against him were nothing but a diversionary tactics by his critics to bring him down.
Meanwhile, seeking to most drivers after the issuance of the so-called ultimatum to the President, they averred that Mr. Tampuli has been very helpful to the course of drivers and the oil marketing business as a whole.
“It will be prudent for the presidency to sweep the call of his resignation under the carpet since intention is diabolic and unsubstantiated. We also urge Chief Hassan Tampuli to remain focus and more determined in his quest to accomplish greater heights including the Gushegu project,” his supporters said.
