Lockdown: Parliament Chapel Saves Woman From Suicide, Donates To 100yrs Old Charcoal Seller & Gives To Orphanage Homes

Parliament Chapel Humanitarian Emergency Food Relief Team under the able leadership of Apostle Francis Amoako Attah and Rev. Mrs. Mavis Amoako donated food relief items to a lady who had wanted to commit suicide due to hardships she is facing under the lockdown.

The Team, which got wind of the plight of the woman (name withheld), mobilized resources and paid a surprise visit to the woman.

The Church donated food items including bags of rice, assorted drinks, toiletries, bags of sachet waster and some cash donations to the woman to help her survive the lockdown, together with her little children.

The Team also did similar donation to a 100 year-old charcoal seller at Kasoa.

The old charcoal seller, according to the team was considered to be in need as the lockdown enters the second week, hence their intervention.

Apostle Francis Amoako Attah personally pledged to give cash allowance to the old woman every month until she is called to her maker.

In another development, Parliament Chapel Humanitarian Emergency Food Relief Team also supported Royal Seed Orphanage Home with relief items including food items to help the children be able to feed during these trying times as majority of persons and organizations which hitherto, do support the home cannot do so because of the lockdown measures.

According to Apostle Francis Amoako Attah, he finds great joy in giving to the poor as that is what God demands from His children.

Rev. Mrs. Mavis Amoako on the other hand, expressed the hope that the little they have donated will go a long way to help the beneficiaries live and survive during the lockdown period.

The beneficiaries of these donations expressed gratitude to the Team and Apostle Francis Amoako Attah and his wife for the gesture and prayed that the Good Lord will replenish their barn so that they will continue to be a blessing to other people as well.
