Thousands Join Ablekuma Central NDC In Unity Walk

Thousands of National Democratic Congress NDC sympathizers in Ablekuma Central Constituency in the Greater Accra Region joined the Member of Parliament (MP) Hon. Abdul Latif Dan and constituency executives in a unity walk.

The event which took place on Sunday, January 15, 2023, was aimed at bringing the branches together and the party support base within the Constituency to foster unity and energize the grassroots for victory 2024.

The walk saw thousands of sympathizers abandoned their Sunday church services to participate in the unity walk to keep fit, exercise their bodies and be part of the historic unity walk which will forever remain in the history books of Ablekuma Central NDC.

The historic unity walk was graced by several dignitaries including Greater Accra Regional Executives of the NDC led by the Regional Chairman, Hon. Nii Ashie Moore, and Deputy Organiser, Hon. Gambo Zamatu.

Others include Hon. Alhaji Halidu Haruna a one time Parliamentary Candidate in the 2016 General election, Mr. Kwashie and among others.

The Member of Parliament for Ablekuma Central Hon. Abdul Latif Dan assured all the National, Regional and constituency executives that the Parliamentary seat will be retained.

He added that the people of Ablekuma Central will not compromise NDC 2024 victory and will do everything possible to give former President John Dramani Mahama and the NDC a resounding victory come 2024.

He urged the constituents to at all times work for the interest of the party and not for the interest of any individual.

The Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the NDC Hon. Nii Ashie Moore commended the MP and the Constituency Executives for organizing the unity walk.

He expressed hope that the unity walk will serve its purpose to ensure that the party increase its votes and retain the Parliamentary seat for the NDC.
