The Cape Coast High Court 2, on Monday, 11th November, 2019, dismissed an application filed by Prof. Avoke and others, seeking to challenge among other things, the legality of the appointment of the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), Rev. Fr. Prof. Anthony Afful-Broni.
Earlier, the court dismissed the purported EOCO Report, which was heavily relied upon by Alexander Kwamena Afenyo-Markin and Harold Atuguba, both counsel for Prof. Avoke and the others, which has been bandied around without shame as having exonerated Prof. Avoke, and the others.
The EOCO Report was dismissed on the basis that it lacked credibility and cannot pass any judicial test.
The case was presided over by Her Ladyship Justice Mills Tetteh.
